Orb Connect (OC) is a sustainable last-mile broadband solution. Our mission is to provide affordable, reliable, and uninterrupted broadband service for rural/remote regions of the UK without additional cost to network operators.
Network operators are under a lot of pressure to deliver greater margins to satisfy shareholder demands. Expanding their network into rural regions is capital intensive and would yield less return per customer (~60% less) compared to urban customers. Given the competition in the market, the odds are stacked against rural communities, especially farmers.
